As well as playing the trumpet I also compose music mainly for film clips in many different styles. My compositions cover many genres across orchestral, solo works, synth based works, choral pieces and arrangements. My arrangements are shown on the media page as part of some of my trumpet multitracks. This piece called "A New Beginning" is a piece I wrote with and for the KOMPOSIT Orchestra in 2021. I was one of 5 young people to be given the opportunity to work with KOMPOSIT'S amazing musicians, to craft a piece of our choosing. With my piece I used it as a chance to reflect on the pandemic and the experience of coming back outside for the first time in over a year. The piece is about the feeling we all had of rediscovery, as we went back outside and explored our local areas again, after the pandemic had ripped through the world. I wanted to have a reflective feeling within the piece yet still have it represent the rural and pastoral setting many of us explored again.

Latest EP: 'Revolution'
On March 1st 2024 I released a 4-track EP themed around motorsports, racing and the feeling of pure speed! The 4 tracks all center around a different part of a race, and embody the energy and intensity found when drivers turn a wheel in anger. The full track listing is:

In June 2023 the animated short film produced by me and Dean, for the first track of the 'Among the Stars' album, was selected for the Fantasy Film Festival in Paris. 'Terra Firma' was shown on the cinema screen at the Club de l’Etoile near the Arc de Triomphe, to audiences both public and made up of other film directors and producers. At this festival me and Dean were lucky enough to have been awarded the 'Night of Misfit Films, 2023 Choice Award' for 'Terra Firma'. This was an incredible opportunity and to see 'Terra Firma' become an award winning film has made us incredibly proud. Thank you to Dean, the jury and the other filmmakers!

Album Spotlight:
'Among the Stars'
'Among the Stars' is an 8 piece audio-visual album telling the story of a journey from Earth, through outer space to settle on another planet. The music takes us on a story of discovery through the universe, encountering many space phenomena and interesting things along the way.
The album was a collaboration with artist Dean de Barros who provided the visuals for the video of the titular piece.

Throughout 2023, I worked with East Lab Dance Company on their new children's dance theatre work "Frocks, Socks, and the Orange Fox" which was supported by: Arts Council England, Inspire Libraries, Derby Libraries and Deda. This process was one which saw us produce an engaging and at points interactive show for young children which toured around Libraries in Derby. This took the form of a 30 mins show and a 30 mins stay and play for children ages 3-6. This project allowed me to explore a lot of different styles of music and have fun writing exciting music that would appeal to a new audience.
