Today I released my latest EP "Revolution"! Revolution is a high octane 4 track EP themed around motorsports, racing and the feeling of pure speed! The 4 tracks all center around a different part of a race, and embody the energy and intensity found when drivers turn a wheel in anger.

Every track tells the story of a different part of a race:
Revolution: This track tells the story of the feeling of speed and feeling the car glide over the road at a high RPM. The feeling of peace yet speed and power is represented here, and a quote from the film Le Mans 66 (aka. Ford vs Ferrari) perfectly describes the feeling the music represents: "There’s a point – 7000 RPM – where everything fades. When your seeing becomes weightless, just disappears. And all that’s left is a body moving through space and time. 7000 RPM that’s where you meet it."
Light's Out: All the cars on the grid... drivers hearts pounding fast... 5 lights beep and disappear and the race is ON! Track 2 describes this feeling of anticipation as the lights go out and the cars roar into life and speed down the track to the first corner. All the cars pile into the apex narrowly avoiding contact, some gaining places and some losing out... away we go!
Slipstream: Track 3 is a very high energy one, representing a driver closely following the car ahead. They're using the slipstream created in the wake of the car in front to avoid smashing into dirty air which would increase the drag felt on their vehicle. They use this slipstream down the long straight on the track, and at the right moment pounce and overtake the driver ahead! Close quarters, high stakes driving!
Champions: A long race is coming to an end... the drivers in P1 and P2 are still fighting for the coveted race winning spot! Suddenly, an opportunity arises and one driver makes a dramatic move, diving into a corner, late on the breaks, overtaking the car ahead on the inside! They bring the car home across the line in P1 to take the trophy... etched into history forever... a champion... a legend...
I wrote Revolution as a way of musically representing my passion for motorsports! If you know me you know how obsessed with everything related to cars I am... I've even got one tattooed on my arm if that tells you enough! Even though this album is tied into the first F1 weekend of the season, I love everything to do with motorsports... single-seaters, supercars, touring cars, electric cars, rally cars... the list goes on!
I wanted to write something to show this passion and really get people hyped up for the start of the upcoming 2024 F1 season which at the time of writing (March 1st 2024) happens to be today!
